Restaurant, Coffee shop and Bar at the beach
We are a family, we are developing small projects in Huanchaco, wonderful beach on the north coast of Peru, which is an already urbanized district with necessary amenities: shops, restaurants, bars, banks, etc
The best we have are incredible waves to practice the sport of surfing perfect waves to learn. Much for tourism and culture, amazing sunset and great energy to live in peace. This little beach town has a very relaxed and quiet life. It also has a variety of exquisite food, no market, bars, boardwalk to beach for swimming, and there are archaeological sites nearby. The best season for a visit of the town is coming, Peruvian summer (january to march) is the high season with more tourists and fun activities on the beach like world surf championship in February.
The project I have is to have volunteer help for my business improvements: A Restaurant and the coffee is another option for the complete atmosphere that we are aiming for. At nights we will mix the herbal drinks with pisco (the traditional drink of Southern Peru) or Rum (from the Northern parts of Peru). This restaurant is a relatively new creation and we are always open to suggestions and fresh ideas. We're looking for volunteers to bring their own gifts to the table and would love for you to join us!
As a volunteer of the restaurant house you will:
· Work 6 hours 6 days a week with a change of shifts (morning or evening).
· The way to contribute is wash dishes and by waiting tables or help to cooking at the Restaurant in Huanchaco. It would be great if a volunteer was like the chef or kitchen and so exchange ideas and recipes.
· Volunteers can also help if you want to roll the Restaurant (Concert Music, Karaoke, etc) Assist in virtual media for customer acquisition, marketing, improve services, dealing with customers, etc.
On the first floor we are offering shared rooms of two for the volunteers with tv, the house has internet access and is located beachfront. In addition we offer lunch on our own.
The deal will be part of the family. We look forward to your support and thus have a cultural exchange, to teach our knowledge (my husband is a chef and I am a painter) and learn what we need, our family like art, if you're an artist you will feel at home and if you are not artist will make you feel at home.
Preferably the candidate would like a minimum of two weeks to stay and if they can stay longer would be better.
It is essential to speak Spanish at a basic level. Inglés is helpful, but not required.
We have contacts and help for a complete travel experience of our beautiful country for you our volunteers and your happiness in any situation... sports, community, culture, music, art etc.
